CANCELLED - ANNUAL SANTA CLAUS PARADE
In continuing discussions with Santa , consultation with Public Health and with a lot of consideration the Alma Optimist Club has decided that to ensure the health and safety of both parade participants and spectators in our Hamlet and our residents, we have come to the difficult decision that we cannot go forward with the annual Santa Claus parade this year We will also have to cancel our annual Breakfast With Santa event that is usually on the same day of the parade as well.
In lieu of the parade, we are planning to make the holiday season fun and bright!! The Alma Optimist Club will update you shortly with how we will all show our community and seasonal spirit!
Stay tuned – we promise even though the weather outside will get frightful and all this covid19 stuff ain’t so delightful – we have such community sprit you know – and we will let it show, let it show, let it show!
